Fire Stopping. Done Properly. Documented Properly.

We work on new-build sites alongside the M&E; trades from first fix onwards, and we work on existing buildings where penetrations have been added, modified or wrongly sealed over the building’s life. Both scenarios require the same discipline — match the system to the substrate, match the system to the service, match the system to the fire rating, and document the result.
Where a service or penetration falls outside any tested system (an increasingly common scenario as buildings age and services are upgraded), we engage with manufacturer technical teams to obtain a specific assessment or a Field of Application (EXAP) before installing the work — never by analogy.
Our Capability Includes
- Pipe penetrations — copper, steel, plastic, MLCP, cast iron
- Cable, cable basket, cable tray and cable bundle penetrations
- Ductwork and ventilation penetrations
- Linear gap sealing and movement joints
- Mortar and proprietary compound systems for large openings
- Re-penetration provision (sleeves and re-enterable systems)

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a fire stop last?
Ans. A correctly installed fire stop will perform for the life of the building, provided the surrounding construction and the services penetrating it are not modified. Any modification — even a single new cable bundle — invalidates the original tested system at that point.
Can fire stopping be installed by an electrician or plumber after they finish their work?
Ans. Yes. We can install discreet, durable identification tags on every completed seal, each linking via QR code or unique ID to its digital record in our quality platform — useful for ongoing fire risk assessments and re-penetration control. It can, but it shouldn’t be — and increasingly, it isn’t allowed. Tested system performance depends on installation by trained, third-party-accredited operatives. Most main contractors and clients now require a single accredited fire stopping contractor.
Do you provide tags or labels for completed seals?
Ans. Yes. We can install discreet, durable identification tags on every completed seal, each linking via QR code or unique ID to its digital record in our quality platform — useful for ongoing fire risk assessments and re-penetration control.
